Join us in driving progress in the working world and beyond. /p h3Your journey with us /h3 pWe are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our Financial Business Partnering team—a strategic role that bridges financial data with business insight. /p pIn this position, you will be a trusted partner to our (Managing) Partners, Responsible Directors and Managers (PDM), translating financial data into actionable insights that drive profitability, optimize resource allocation, and accelerate business growth. You will own the financial narrative of your Offering Portfolio, ensuring clarity on PL performance while identifying cross‑service opportunities and risks that shape strategic decisions. /p pAs a Finance Business Partner, you will provide strategic analytical and advisory support across the Tax Legal practice. Your primary focus will be delivering comprehensive financial insights and analyses for your assigned Offering Portfolio, while extending support across the entire PDM‑group within that Portfolio. You will partner closely with your respective PDM‑group to drive PL accountability ensuring informed decision‑making at every level of the business. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Financial Operations Reporting /h3 ul liOwn the monthly financial close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls and procedures. /li liPrepare and deliver comprehensive PL reports, variance analyses, and financial dashboards to support business decision‑making. /li liLead planning, budget and reforecasting exercises, coordinating inputs across business units and consolidating financial plans. /li liMonitor cash and working capital and initiate appropriate actions to optimise liquidity and financial health. /li liGenerate ad‑hoc reports to management that are timely, accurate, and tailored to specific business needs. /li liPerform periodic reviews of work in progress (WIP), ensure accurate, transparent, and up‑to‑date WIP positions, and proactively address variances. /li /ul h3Financial Analysis Business Advisory /h3 ul liAnalyse portfolio performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to optimise profitability and resource allocation. /li liProvide insights into direct cost evolution, supporting the business in understanding cost drivers and improving margins. /li liTranslate complex financial data into actionable business insights, providing strategic recommendations to operational leaders. /li liPartner with business stakeholders to evaluate operational initiatives, quantifying financial impact and return on investment. /li liContinuously improve service level and enhance the added value of analysis and reporting to internal stakeholders. /li /ul h3Financial Governance Process Excellence /h3 ul liDesign and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls that strengthen governance and operational efficiency. /li liAct as a trusted advisor on financial matters, fostering a culture of financial discipline and accountability across the business. /li liMaintain quality, integrity, and consistency in all financial activities and deliverables. /li /ul h3Digital Transformation Change Management /h3 ul liSupport and drive digital initiatives by contributing to the design, development, testing, and continuous improvement of solutions impacting financials and reporting thereof. /li liEnsure effective rollout and user adoption of new financial solutions through training and stakeholder engagement. /li liContribute to the enhancement of global delivery and reporting structures, enabling improved transparency and performance insights across delivery models. /li /ul h3Let’s talk about you /h3 h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience: Minimum 5+ years of financial controlling, financial analysis, or financial business partnering experience. /li liEducation: Master’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or equivalent professional qualification. /li liTechnical Competency: Expert‑level Excel skills (data modelling, pivot tables, advanced formulas); proficiency in financial analysis tools and systems is a plus. /li liLanguage: Fluent in English; and Dutch or French. /li /ul h3Success Factors /h3 ul liAnalytical Mindset: Combine strong quantitative skills with business intelligence, able to move fluidly between detailed data analysis and strategic insight. /li liStrategic Partnership: Comfortable operating as a trusted advisor to senior leaders; ask insightful questions, challenge assumptions constructively, and influence through insight rather than authority. /li liCommunication Excellence: Communicate complex financial concepts clearly to both finance and non‑finance audiences; written and verbal communication is precise, compelling, and action‑oriented. /li liProactive Problem‑Solving: Forward‑thinking and solution‑oriented, constantly identifying opportunities to improve p
