Eggplant’s Fusion Engine team maintains Eggplant’s test automation engine, allowing our customers to test any system through the eyes of a human. /ph3About the Job: /h3pWe are seeking an experienced Software Engineer who is passionate about creating world-class software. We are building the next-generation, AI-driven test automation engine for our software quality engineering platform. The successful candidate will help build the automation engine which allows our customers to test end-to-end workflows on complex, mission-critical systems. /ph3Responsibilities: /h3ulliDesign, expand and maintain new capabilities for the Eggplant Fusion Engine. /liliWork as a Software Engineer alongside other highly skilled, cross-discipline team members to deliver the team’s goals consistently on schedule and on quality. /liliWork with the Team Lead and Product Owner to ensure that new features work as expected, in a way that provides value to the customer. /liliEnsure products and components integrate well to provide a platform for an exceptional user experience. /liliHelp to determine the best technologies and strategies to use. /liliBring curiosity to the design and delivery of product enhancements and new innovative solutions. /liliProvide input to the design and development process to improve testability, quality and user experience. /liliIdentify and raise issue reports for bugs. /li /ulh3Required

Qualifications:
/h3ulliBachelor / Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent through experience. /liliMinimum 5 years of experience in a software development role. /liliKnowledge of OOP, design patterns and coding best practices. /liliGood design and problem-solving skills. /liliStrong knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: Objective C, C/C++, or C# . /liliSolid knowledge of AI, Agile, Lean and XP development practices /li /ulh3Desired

Qualifications:
/h3ulliExperience with near real-time image and video processing and computer vision. /liliExperience with text detection and optical character recognition (OCR) technologies. /liliExperience with AI technologies, including Large Vision Models, Large Language Models, and agentic development. /liliExperience with analyzing and implementing low-level protocols, such as VNC (RFB). /liliExperience with VS-Code and the Debug Adapter Protocol (DAP) is a plus. /liliExperience with Conan and containers. /liliExperience working in product teams that build commercial of the shelf (COTS) software for the enterprise market. /liliExperience using GitHub Actions or GitLab for build pipelines /liliExperience of continuous delivery. /liliExperience using Eggplant Test or other test automation software. /li /ulh3Salary range: €62,510
- €104,180 annual gross /h3pWhile posted at a specific level, this role may be filled at a different level based on the selected candidate's experience and qualifications.
