pOur client’s Data Platform Engineering team builds the data foundation for analytics and AI across four streams: /p ul liData Ingestion Integration /li liLakehouse Modelling Data Products /li liData Quality Observability /li liSecurity, Governance DataOps /li /ul pbYour role: /b /p ul libDesign and build /b scalable batch and streaming pipelines (ELT/ETL) on a modern cloud lakehouse platform. /li libDevelop /b data models and data products across raw, curated and consumption layers, following domain-ownership and data mesh principles. /li libImplement /b automated data quality checks, testing, lineage and observability for critical pipelines. /li libDefine and monitor /b SLAs / SLOs, manage incidents and perform root-cause analysis on data issues. /li libApply /b security and privacy controls (access management, masking, encryption, retention) in line with GDPR and internal policies. /li libPublish /b metadata, lineage and business definitions to the data catalogue together with data stewards. /li libChampion /b DataOps practices (version control, code review, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code) and mentor junior engineers. /li /ul h3Required profile. /h3 ul liMaster’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or information systems. /li li5+ years in data engineering, including significant experience on Azure, AWS or GCP. /li liStrong SQL and Python; Spark / PySpark and a lakehouse platform (Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric or BigQuery). /li liOrchestration and transformation tools (Airflow, Azure Data Factory, dbt); Kafka is a plus. /li liSolid knowledge of data modelling, data quality and metadata management; GDPR awareness. /li liFluent in English, with Dutch or French. /li liTeam player /li liQuick self-starter with a proactive attitude /li liStrong problem-solving and analytical skills /li liClear communication across business and technology teams /li liComfortable in a dynamic, multicultural environment /li /ul pWe are always on the lookout for talented people to enrich our culture and growing family. /p
