pOur client, an international sustainability-focused organisation, is looking for an Account Payables / GL Accountant to join its Brussels Finance team. /pbrpbWhy apply? /b /pulliOur client is an international non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the sustainability and responsibility of global supply chains. /liliSupported by recurring membership-based revenues, the organisation benefits from a particularly stable financial position. You will join a modern, international and friendly environment with colleagues from many different nationalities. /li /ulbrpReporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in the Finance team and contribute to the progressive internalisation of the Belgian accounting function. /pulliProcess, record and follow up on supplier invoices. /liliManage the Accounts Payable process and ensure timely payments. /liliEnsure the accuracy and quality of accounting data. /liliContribute to general ledger accounting and account reconciliations. /liliEnsure compliance with Belgian accounting principles and BEGAAP. /liliMonitor compliance with Belgian administrative and legal requirements. /liliContribute to the improvement of accounting processes and the implementation of the new accounting system. /liliCollaborate with external accountants, advisors and tax consultants. /liliAct as an internal point of contact for external accounting and tax partners. /liliGradually take responsibility for VAT-related activities. /liliSupport monthly and annual closing activities. /li /ulbrullibExperience: /b You have relevant experience in bBelgian accounting /b, with a background in Accounts Payable, General Ledger or a combination of both.
