Full Stack Data Platform Engineer – AWS / Kubernetes / Snowflake

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Data Platform Engineer to join the Data Platform team of a large enterprise organisation for a long-term assignment in Brussels.

Contract: Full-time – Long-term assignment - Brussels / Hybrid

The Role

You will contribute to the design, development, automation and operation of a cloud-native Data Platform, working across Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, DevOps and Data technologies.

We are looking for someone with a strong engineering mindset who is comfortable working hands-on across AWS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, automation and Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and operate cloud-native data platform infrastructure.
• Develop platform automation and engineering tooling using Python and Shell scripting.
• Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Design and operate solutions within the AWS ecosystem, including networking, IAM, compute and storage.
• Deploy, operate and troubleshoot containerised applications using Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
• Design, develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with Git-based development workflows, including code reviews, testing and version control.
• Administer and manage Snowflake environments, including security, RBAC, privileges, resource hierarchy and object lifecycle.
• Provision and manage Snowflake resources through Terraform.
• Automate environment provisioning, access management and platform governance.
• Apply strong software engineering, DevOps and operational excellence practices.
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.

Your Profile

• Strong hands-on experience with Python and Shell scripting.
• Solid expertise in Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong knowledge of AWS architecture and core cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
• Strong experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines; Bitbucket is an asset.
• Good knowledge of Snowflake administration and security, including RBAC and permission management.
• Experience managing Snowflake infrastructure with Terraform.
• Strong understanding of software engineering and DevOps best practices.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
