We are looking for an experienced HSE professional to coordinate and take ownership of the Health, Safety & Environment governance across multiple regions.
In this strategic role, you will ensure a consistent HSE approach across multiple business entities while supporting a fast-growing international renewable energy organisation.

- Responsible for coordinating and harmonizing the Group Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) framework across operations in Europe.
- Focus on governance, policy development, and standardization rather than operational site-based HSE responsibilities.
- Ensure HSE governance, policies, standards, and management systems are consistently developed, implemented, and monitored across all countries.
- Work closely with local HSE managers, senior leadership, and key stakeholders to drive a consistent HSE strategy.
- Promote a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with applicable European and national legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate Group HSE governance across Europe.
- Develop, maintain, and harmonize Group HSE policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
- Ensure consistent implementation of Group HSE standards and governance frameworks across all locations.
- Act as the subject matter expert and trusted advisor to local HSE professionals and management teams.
- Monitor changes in European and national HSE legislation and translate these into internal policies and governance requirements.
- Coordinate internal audits, compliance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on HSE KPIs, trends, risks, and improvement actions.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and the exchange of HSE best practices across the Group.
- Support risk assessments and continuous improvement programs.
- Lead Group-wide projects related to health, safety, environmental management, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive the continuous improvement of the Group HSE Management System.
- Champion and promote a proactive HSE culture throughout the organization.
- Collaborate with business leaders to ensure HSE objectives are aligned with operational and strategic goals.
Your profile
- You obtained a Master Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Engineering, Engineering, etc. or equivalent by experience.
- Experienced HSE professional with a strong background in governance, policy development, and compliance.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement Group-wide HSE frameworks.
- You have relevant expertise in a regional, international HSE role, within an industrial, infrastructure, engineering or renewable energy environment.
- Strong knowledge of European and national HSE legislation and management systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple countries and organizational levels.
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional and international initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
