Role Description The Project Planner is a full-time, on-site role based in Geel, supporting project teams on construction and infrastructure projects. The person in this role develops and maintains detailed project schedules, including work breakdown structures, dependencies, resource planning, and key milestones. They monitor progress against the plan, analyze schedule performance, and prepare clear reports and forecasts to support decision-making. The Project Planner collaborates closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify risks, constraints, and opportunities, and to propose practical recovery or optimization measures. Daily activities also include contributing to project control processes, ensuring data accuracy, facilitating effective communication within the team, and supporting continuous improvement in planning practices.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Planning & Scheduling skills, including creating and maintaining detailed project timelines.
  • Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess risks, and support informed project decisions.
  • Candidates should possess robust Planning and organizational abilities to structure tasks, resources, and milestones effectively.
  • Candidates should possess Project Control skills to support progress monitoring, reporting, and performance tracking.
  • Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with planning and scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar) is highly beneficial.
  • Background in construction, infrastructure, or engineering projects is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work proactively on-site in Geel, with a detail-oriented, reliable, and collaborative mindset.
