As bSection Manager /b, you are accountable for the bpeople, technical direction, and delivery performance of a complete embedded software section /b. You lead multiple expert roles covering bembedded software requirements, architecture, development, quality, compliance, product ownership, and project leadership /b. You operate as a bmiddle manager /b: translating department strategy into execution, ensuring stable delivery, and developing people and competences for the long term. /p h3About EDC /h3 pThe EMEA Electrics and Controls (EDC) department, located at Tech Lane Ghent Science Park, is one of the fastest growing departments within the EMEA Development Centre of Daikin. /p pThe department is responsible for the development and improvement of control solutions, including: /p ul liRoom and unit controls /li liEmbedded platforms /li liConnectivity, App and Cloud controls /li /ul pOur activities cover: /p ul liEmbedded hardware architecture and development /li liEmbedded software architecture and development /li liSystem integration and validation /li /ul pThroughout all development steps, we combine in‑house expertise with strategic cooperation with external partners to enhance our products and keep them among the best in the industry. Close collaboration across Daikin departments ensures high-quality products for the Daikin EMEA market. /p h3The Team /h3 pWithin Equipment Controls, engineers work in their field of expertise (embedded hardware, software and system architecture).
