pYou'll be joining an e-commerce company as a bFounding AI Engineer /b, building and scaling AI-powered solutions that transform online retail. Working closely with the founders, you'll develop LLM-powered applications, AI agents, and intelligent automation tools to optimise product data management and streamline commercial operations. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul libBuild AI solutions end to end: /b Design, develop, deploy, and maintain production-ready AI applications for e-commerce. /li libDevelop generative AI applications: /b Build LLM-powered tools, RAG systems, NLP solutions, and intelligent agents. /li libAutomate commerce workflows: /b Apply AI to product information management, customer support, product discovery, and operational processes. /li libShape technical direction: /b Define the AI architecture, technology stack, and engineering best practices. /li libDrive innovation: /b Identify opportunities to improve customer journeys, personalise shopping experiences, and optimise business performance. /li /ul h3Your Profile /h3 ul li2–5 years of experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or a related field. /li liStrong Python programming skills and software engineering fundamentals. /li liHands‑on experience deploying AI/ML solutions into production. /li liPractical experience with LLMs, Generative AI, NLP, RAG, or AI agents. /li liExperience working with structured and unstructured data, APIs, and cloud environments. /li liAn entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to take ownership in a fast‑paced environment. /li /ul h3The Offer /h3 ul libFounding-level ownership: /b Shape the company's AI strategy, architecture, and technical direction. /li libEnd-to-end responsibility: /b Build AI solutions from initial concept through production deployment. /li libHigh-impact projects: /b Develop innovative AI applications that transform e-commerce operations and customer experiences. /li libHybrid working: /b Flexible working model with an office base in Mechelen. /li libCompetitive compensation: /b Salary and benefits aligned with experience and responsibilities. /li libCareer growth: /b Opportunity to build and lead the AI engineering function as the company scales. /li /ul h3Interested? /h3
