Our client, a leading Software, Information and
Communication Technologies company, operates internationally
(Athens, Brussels, Luxembourg, Copenhagen, Stockholm, London,
Nicosia, Hong-Kong, Valetta, etc). Our client is a renowned
supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational
corporations, public administrations and multinational companies,
research and academic institutes. Role Overview Our client
currently has a vacancy for a Service Desk Administrator fluent in
English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based
in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the
company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context
of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be
integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely
cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Brussels Workplace: Onsite Please note that we can consider only EU candidates for this position due to security clearance. Requirements University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in IT; Knowledge of the office automation tools used in the contracting authority (MS-Office); Knowledge and administration of infrastructure maintenance management systems and tools; Good experience with maintenance and project management procedures; Excellent command of the French and English language. Responsibilities Monitor and update the inventory of security equipment; Manage and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance operations within the CMMS; Encode security installation projects for the premises and record newly installed equipment; Prepare identification stickers and assist with their placement; Track the equipment inventory in the CMMS and assist with physical stock verification; Assist in receiving newly delivered equipment and entering it into the system; Following building abandonment, decommission related equipment and oversee the processing of recovered, discarded, or abandoned items; Perform on-site visits following intervention requests, when necessary; Verify As-Built documentation detailing the type and location of newly installed equipment; report issues to project managers; Provide requested data and feedback extracted from the CMMS, including statistics on malfunctions, financial figures, and estimated
working hours
for specific maintenance activities.
