ppWe are seeking an experienced bDPO/Privacy Expert /b with a strong background in bPrivacy and Data Protection /b. The successful candidate will support organizations in addressing their privacy, data protection, and compliance challenges while helping them prepare for new and emerging regulations impacting data, technology, and artificial intelligence. /p pThis role combines hands-on expertise, advisory capabilities, and the ability to translate regulatory requirements into pragmatic and future-proof solutions. The DPO/Privacy Expert will work on challenging assignments for one or more clients while contributing to an environment where knowledge sharing and subject matter expertise are central. /p pAct as a trusted advisor to clients on privacy and data protection related topics. /p pSupport organizations in meeting current regulatory requirements and preparing for new and emerging legislation. /p pAdvise management and other stakeholders on privacy, compliance, process, and risk management matters. /p pTranslate regulatory requirements into pragmatic, practical, and future-proof solutions. /p h3GDPR Compliance Expertise /h3 pDemonstrate strong knowledge of GDPR and its practical application. /p pConduct and support DPIAs/PIAs, RoPAs, Privacy by Design activities, and privacy incident management processes. /p pAddress complex privacy challenges in a pragmatic and risk-based manner. /p pLead assignments independently and provide expert guidance within client environments. /p h3Emerging Regulations AI Governance /h3 pContribute to initiatives related to the EU AI Act, AI Governance, and AI-related privacy challenges. /p pSupport clients in understanding the growing intersection between privacy, data, risk, compliance, and artificial intelligence. /p pFurther develop expertise across both established and emerging compliance domains. /p pbRequired Experience /b /p pMinimum b5 years of experience in /b privacy andb Data Protection /b, preferably as a DPO or in a senior privacy role; /p pbCertified Data Protection Officer (DPO) /b combined with bhands-on experience /bacting as DPO /p pStrong knowledge of bGDPR /b and hands on experience with DPIAs/PIAs, RoPAs, Privacy by Design, and privacy incident management; /p pExperience in bprocess and risk management /b, with the ability to advise management and other stakeholders; /p pThe seniority and autonomy to lead assignments independently and address complex privacy challenges in a pragmatic way; /p pExcellent communication skills and bfluency /b in both bDutch /b and bEnglish /b; /p pKnowledge of French is considered a plus; /p pKnowledge of, or experience with, the bEU AI Act, AI Governance, and AI related privacy /b challenges is a strong asset; /p pExperience working within complex organizations and/or across diverse client environments is an additional advantage. /p pbPersonal Profile /b /p pWe are looking for someone who: /p pIs ambitious, proactive, and highly driven. /p pStrives to differentiate through quality rather than volume. /p pUnderstands the importance of becoming a trusted advisor to clients. /p pIs intellectually curious and continuously follows regulatory and industry developments. /p pThrives in an entrepreneurial and collaborative environment. /p pbGeographic Scope /b /p pOur headquarters are located in Antwerp.
