pAs a Senior Python Developer, you will be instrumental in architecting, developing, and maintaining resilient software solutions essential to the core business activities. You will work hand-in-hand with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable, high-performing applications while fostering the continuous enhancement of technical standards. /ppYou will join the Chapter Development community, an environment that brings together developers from across the organization, collaborating on a variety of technology stacks. /ppYour main assignment will center around the internal monitoring platform, which is dedicated to monitoring and maintaining application health. The internal monitoring facilitates the implementation and management of sophisticated synthetic and log checks for live applications, ensuring timely information about their operational status and coordinating swift notification to relevant personnel whenever intervention is warranted. /ppAt the heart the platform lie the monitoring and alerting engines, both developed in Python, alongside all associated monitoring scripts. Your skills and experience will be pivotal to the ongoing evolution and reliability of this solution. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliCollaborate actively to the development and optimization of Python-based software applications. /liliCollaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define software specifications. /liliEngage with customers to address service request and ensure effective resolution. /liliImplement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment (CI/CD). /liliMentor junior developers and conduct code reviews. /liliTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues. /liliWork with DevOps and data engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and performance. /liliEnsure security, scalability, and maintainability of solutions. /li /ulh3Ideal Profile /h3h3Required Skills Experience /h3ulliIT/tech-related academic degree (bachelor’s or master’s degree. /lili6+ years of experience in Development. /lili3+ years of experience using Python. /liliStrong understanding of IT security requirements and their implementation ideally in the context of critical infrastructure /liliProficiency in Python for backend services, preferably with FastAPI or similar frameworks. /liliProficiency with data validation lib as Pydantic. /liliExperience with AsyncIO. /liliExperience in SQL. /liliExperience with databases like MSSQL, PostgreSQL. /liliExperience with RabbitMQ. /liliStrong understanding of service-based architectures and event-driven systems /liliSolid conceptual knowledge of software design patterns, scalability, and continuous integration practices /liliKnowledge of test automation frameworks (e Selenium) /liliSolid understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms. /liliStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. /liliAbility to mentor and provide technical leadership. /liliExperience working in agile environments. /liliExcellent communication and collaboration skills. /liliExperience with Azure cloud is a plus. /liliExperience in NoSQL solutions is a plus. /liliAbility to work with legacy code and participate to refactoring initiative. /liliFamiliarity with containerization using Docker and deployment pipelines in a CI/CD environment is a plus. /liliGood level of Dutch and/or French and English is required, German is a plus. /li /ul
