JOB TITLE: BUSINESS CONTROLLER

MODE OF WORK: FULL TIME AND HYBRID (2-3 DAYS ONSITE PER WEEK)

CONTRACT DURATION: ASAP - END OF DEC (POSSIBLE EXTENSION)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Description/Role:

- We are seeking a highly experienced Business Controller.
- The ideal candidate will play a vital role in delivering qualitative integrated companywide performance analysis and management reporting to support the Telenet executive leadership team in their decision-making. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

- Manage monthly and quarterly closings, including performance analysis and reporting.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly total company reporting deliverables (both IFRS and US GAAP) for internal management, LG management, and Investor Relations.
- Prepare and synthesize financial information for internal and external stakeholders.
- Use financial storytelling techniques to transform data and analysis into meaningful insights, enabling stakeholders to make informed business decisions.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial reports and deliverables.
- Collaborate with various business units to gather necessary information.
- Maintain and improve the quality of internal management reporting.
- Provide support during the year-end closing process.
- Handle ad-hoc requests from senior leadership.
- Contribute to process improvements and automation projects aimed at enhancing reporting quality and efficiency.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in economics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in FP&A or business controlling.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Oracle tools and Think-cell is a plus.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player with a proactive and flexible attitude.

Must have skills:

- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice to have skills:

- Experience with Think-cell for creating visuals and reports.
- Familiarity with Oracle financial tools.
