Reporting to the Certification Manager:

• You support the management of the relationships between the

assessment, certifications and authorization bodies (ISA, NoBo, DeBo, AsBo,

NSA, ERA), and ensure a strong and diplomatic stakeholder management with

their representatives.

• You take part in external audits and/or play an active role in their preparation,

organization, realization, and post activities management.

On the programs in which your projects are vested:

o You support the Certification manager in the review and validation of the

accuracy and correctness of National Specifications requirements taken

as input for the activities in your projects.

o You draft and maintain all necessary certification documentation and

plans for the projects, in your field of responsibility

o You report functionally to a Program Manager.

o You prepare the evidence required by the assessment bodies and

support the resolution of certification findings and open points.

o You contribute to the preparation of authorization application files (OSS)

under the supervision of the Certification Manager.

• You develop an understanding of both the system and the software within the

intended environment of application

• You support the RAMS Director maintain the processes embodying your

activities and actively contribute to the improvement of the processes. You draft

processes when requested.

• Where appropriate, you work hand in hand with the RAMS Engineers, with the

System Engineers (and some other technical functions within the development

teams)

• You perform a regulatory monitoring in your field of responsibility.

Profile

• You have a Master’s degree in Business engineering, or Engineering/Software

Engineering/Computer Science (an additional management diploma is a plus).

• You have at least 3 years successful experience in the railway industry,

preferably in system engineering, validation or certification activities.

• You understand the requirements of CENELEC EN50126, EN50128, EN50129,

and TS50701.

• You master (or can show relevant knowledge of) at least the following Class-B

systems: TBL1+, PZB, ATB-NG, KVB.

• Knowledge of the ISO 9001 is a plus.

• A good understanding of ETCS principles and Subset-026 specifications is

mandatory.

• Knowledge of the European railway authorization process (ERA/OSS) is

considered an asset.

• You communicate effectively with both technical teams and external

assessment bodies.

• You are eager to learn and take responsibilities

• You have analytical thinking and good observation skills.

• You enjoy to go “hands on” when needed.

• You inspire confidence and can adapt to changing situations.

• You admit that you can be wrong when a team member has a better idea.

• You know how to turn a risk into an opportunity.

• Fluency English is required, French is a a strong asset and any other language

is welcome
