Our client is a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations and multinational companies, research and academic institutes. /ph3Role Overview /h3pOur client currently has a vacancy for an Application/ Cloud Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company's premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client's IT team on site. /ppbJob type: /bContract /ppbLocation: /bBrussels Belgium /ppbWorkplace: /bOnsite /ppDeadline for submission: 7 May 2026 /ppPlease note that we can consider only EU candidates for this position due to security clearance. /ph3Requirements /h3ulliUniversity degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience; /liliAt least 5 years of experience in Angular; /liliAt least 5 years of experience in Java ; /liliAt least 2 years of experience in building pipeline with AWS CDK; /liliGood knowledge of Amazon services such as S3, IAM, cloudfront, ECR, EFS, RDS, CodeBuild, Code Pipeline and CodeCommit; /liliKnowledge of Wildfly, PostGres and Docker; /liliKnowledge of Bash, webservices SOAP and REST and Spring Boot; /liliKnowledge of Python; /liliThe following certification would be an asset: AWS Architect or Developer; /liliExcellent command of the English language. /li /ulh3Responsibilities /h3ulliDesign and implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC); /liliAnalyze and model data, systems integration and enterprise processes; /liliDesign, develop and evolve cloud and enterprise architectures; /liliDefine architecture components, building blocks and development guidelines; /liliLead technical coordination between stakeholders, architects and developers; /liliProduce and maintain architecture and technical documentation; /liliAssess and modernize existing systems, including cloud migration strategies; /liliDevelop, integrate, deploy and maintain backend and frontend systems; /liliOversee implementation of technical architecture and system configuration; /liliMonitor systems, handle incident management (3rd level support), and bug tracking; /liliParticipate in technical working groups, user meetings and progress reviews; /liliSupport testing, deployment, evaluation and reporting activities; /liliAnalyze information systems portfolio and corporate data flows; /liliMentor junior team members and review technical deliverables. /li /ul /p
