Freelance Finance Manager – Region Brussels (Ref. 1710)
For a growing organisation, we are looking for a Freelance Finance Manager to temporarily lead the Finance department. In this role, you will report directly to the CEO and act as a financial sparring partner to the management team.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day financial administration.
- Advise management and the executive team based on financial analyses and insights.
- Take responsibility for monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes.
- Prepare management reports and financial dashboards.
- Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts.
- Analyse and monitor financial performance (results and margins) and KPIs translating findings into concrete insights and actions.
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity.
- Optimise financial processes and internal controls.
- Support strategic projects and investment decisions.
Your profile:
- Strong financial background and relevant experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or in a similar role.
- Analytical, detail-oriented and skilled at structuring financial information and translating it into clear insights and concrete actions.
- Extensive experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Able to combine strategic insight with a hands-on mentality.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work independently, take ownership and adapt quickly in a changing environment.
