h3Team Manager IT GIS AD interim (Senior) (SBG ) /h3h3Functie: Team Manager IT GIS AD interim (Senior) /h3pWithin Digital Business Solutions (IT), the Works, GIS Customer (WGC) Unit is responsible for optimizing the processes and applications related to work management, asset management, network planning, and customer relationship management. The unit plays a key role in the continuous improvement of tools and methodologies that support both operational efficiency and customer experience. /ppThe GIS Team, part of the WGC Unit, is responsible for the maintenance and further development of the organization’s GIS and Asset Management systems. The team consists of analysts, developers, and project managers who support various business teams, both in the office and in the field, in the efficient use of these systems. /ppWithin the organization, the GIS system serves as the central platform for Asset Data Management, managing assets and networks across the different energy domains, including electricity, gas, public lighting, and fiber optics. Through a range of GIS applications, both desktop and web-based, users can access, update, and manage asset and network data. Over the years, the GIS platform has also been integrated with other core systems, such as the Workforce Management System, the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS), and our smart lighting management application. /ppTo support these ambitions, we are looking for a driven and experienced Team Manager ad-interim to lead and further develop this team. /pulliBachelor degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Science, or Computer Science. /liliFluent in French. /liliProven experience as an IT Manager / in coordinating an IT team within a medium-sized or large organization (5 years). /liliProven experience in leading an IT delivery team. /liliProven experience in leading at least 8 FTE. /liliProven experience with ITIL. /liliProven experience with project management (5 years). /liliMaster degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Science, or Computer Science (preferred). /liliProven experience in the daily operational management of an ICT organization and in leading team members (preferred). /liliProven experience in the utilities sector (preferred). /liliProven experience with GIS (preferred). /liliProven experience with Hexagon Networks technology (nice to have). /li /ulh3Context /h3pAs Team Manager GIS, you are responsible for the following: /pulliYou lead a team of approximately ten employees, including application analysts, developers, project leaders and a technical architect. /liliYou are responsible for prioritizing the team's activities and ensuring that resources are aligned with the workload. /liliYou keep the team aligned, engaged and motivated. /liliYou support the individual development of team members through effective coaching. /liliYou manage the portfolio of projects related to the organization’s GIS strategy. /liliYou collaborate with the business and architecture teams to define and promote a shared vision for the evolution of the domain. /liliYou are accountable for delivering projects within your domain according to the agreed scope, budget, and timeline. /liliYour team is responsible for the corrective and evolutionary maintenance of the applications within your domain, as well as user support. /liliYou organize the handling of incidents and user change requests in the most effective way, in accordance with departmental processes and defined SLAs. /liliYou organize the monitoring of the applications within your domain and proactively ensure their stable and efficient operation. /liliYou manage the budgets required for the execution of your teams’ activities. /liliYou drive the continuous improvement of your team’s activities. /liliYou are a member of the DBS management team and report to the Head of the “Works, GIS and Customer” department. /li /ul
