The Belgian team maintains an approachable, informal working culture, with direct communication between colleagues. /ppReporting to the strongFinance Director /strong, you will handle daily accounting and prepare the information required by the external Belgian accounting firm. English will be your main working language, and you will gradually have the opportunity to strongextend your scope to other European entities /strong. This role suits someone who enjoys practical accounting work, varied responsibilities and international collaboration. /pBR/ulliManage strongcustomer and supplier invoices /strong, prepare billing and record daily transactions in NetSuite. /liliPerform strongbank, supplier and credit card reconciliations /strong, investigating and resolving discrepancies. /liliContribute to strongmonthly reporting /strong and prepare the data and supporting documents required for VAT returns and the external accountant's work. /liliSupport the finance leadership team with strongday-to-day departmental needs /strong, gradually contributing to the accounting of other European companies. /li /ulpbr/pBR/ulliYou have around strongthree years of experience in accounting or finance /strong, with solid accounting fundamentals. All industry backgrounds are welcome; exposure to several countries is an advantage. /liliYou have excellent strongwritten and spoken English /strong and are confident using strongExcel or Google Sheets /strong, including formulas and pivot tables. French or Dutch is a plus, and you are willing to learn NetSuite if it is new to you. /liliYou are strongindependent, organised and collaborative /strong.
