Enterprise Solution Architect – Technology

ppOur partner is a growing Belgian group developing technology-driven solutions across mobility and energy. /ppAs its different platforms, products and services continue to grow and become increasingly integrated, technology plays a central role in supporting scalability, operational excellence and compliance. The organisation is therefore looking for an bEnterprise Solution Architect /b to define and govern its future technology landscape. /ppIn this role, you will ensure that applications, platforms, integrations, data flows, security and infrastructure evolve as one coherent and sustainable ecosystem. This is not a purely theoretical architecture position: you will combine strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, translating business and technology priorities into pragmatic architectural decisions. /ppYou will also lead a focused architecture team of two specialists covering AI architecture and cloud infrastructure. /ph3Your Responsibilities /h3ulliDefine and evolve the enterprise and target architecture across the organisation’s platforms, products and services, establishing clear architectural standards, principles and technology roadmaps. /liliGovern solution architecture across strategic initiatives, reviewing designs, defining reusable patterns and ensuring consistency across applications, integrations, data and security. /liliIdentify technical debt, legacy components and unnecessary complexity, and drive simplification, standardisation and remediation initiatives. /liliDesign an architecture capable of supporting continued growth, new business models and the integration of future acquisitions. /liliOwn architecture‑related security and compliance activities, including security reviews, risk and remediation follow‑up and frameworks such as NIS2, GDPR and ISO 27001. /liliLead and coach a two‑person architecture team covering applied AI and AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure, setting priorities and acting as an escalation point for key architectural decisions. /liliOwn enterprise data and integration architecture, including data governance, API and integration standards, while establishing architectural guidelines for AI and automation initiatives. /liliAct as a trusted advisor to management and senior stakeholders, translating complex technical topics into business language and creating alignment around long‑term technology decisions. /li /ulh3Your Profile /h3ulliYou bring at least 10 years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture or a related technology leadership role. /liliYou have strong experience with complex enterprise application landscapes, integrations and technology transformation, including ERP, CRM and customer platforms. /liliYou have a deep understanding of cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure and AWS, and experience reducing technical debt and simplifying technology landscapes. /liliYou have strong knowledge of data architecture and governance, AI and automation, as well as security architecture and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR and/or NIS2, including the operational follow‑up of security activities. /liliYou have experience leading or coordinating architects, technical experts or multidisciplinary technology teams. /liliYou have worked in fast‑growing or transformation environments, with exposure to mergers, acquisitions or organisational integration. /liliYou combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic, hands‑on approach, can influence senior stakeholders /liliYou are fluent in bEnglish and either Dutch or French. /b /li /ulh3What's in it for you? /h3ulliA strategic role with significant ownership and visibility across the organisation. /liliThe opportunity to shape the technology landscape of a growing company active in sustainable mobility and energy. /liliA battractive compensation package /b, including an annual bonus. /liliA bcompany car or alternative mobility options. /b /liliMeal vouchers, pension insurance and hospitalisation insurance. /liliFlexible working arrangements, including homeworking and an internet allowance. /liliAccess to training and development opportunities through the group’s academy. /liliLong‑term career opportunities within a large and established Belgian group. /li /ulh3Ready for your next challenge? /h3pAre you an experienced architect who enjoys combining long‑term technology strategy with hands‑on governance and execution? /ppThis is an opportunity to take ownership of a broad technology landscape, lead a specialised architecture team and help shape how a growing organisation builds and scales its future technology ecosystem. /p /p
