JOB DESCRIPTION - ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN SAP FINANCE DOMAIN LEAD IT CONSULTANT.
BACKGROUND
- The SAP Finance IT Domain Lead is responsible for coordinating and steering all IT activities related to the Finance area within the SAP S/4HANA program.
- He ensures the consistency of solutions, the coordination of IT and business teams, risk management and the operational monitoring of the perimeter for which he is responsible. It is the main point of contact between business teams, project teams and external partners.
MAIN TASKS
STEERING THE DOMAIN
- Ensure the governance and coordination of all IT activities in the Finance domain.
- Prioritize, track progress, and identify dependencies.
- Coordinate the resources involved in the field.
- Ensure regular reporting to program direction and IT management.
- Ensure alignment between project objectives and business needs.
COORDINATION OF STAKEHOLDERS
- Be the main point of contact for the Finance area with the business teams.
- Ensure coordination between the Business, IT, Infrastructure, Integration and external partners teams.
- Facilitate decision-making and arbitration of topics in the field.
- Prepare and facilitate workshops, follow-up meetings and governance bodies.
RISK AND QUALITY
- Management Identify, track, and escalate domain risks, issues, and decisions.
- Define and monitor mitigation action plans.
- Ensure compliance with program standards, methodologies and processes.
- Ensure the quality of the deliverables produced within the Finance perimeter.
FUNCTIONAL ANALYSIS AND SAP
- expertise Understand and challenge business needs.
- Supervise the drafting of requirements and functional specifications.
- Contribute to the definition of target solutions.
- Provide expertise on Finance processes and cross-functional impacts.
- Validate proposed solutions before implementation.
TESTING, MIGRATION AND RELEASE
- Oversee the preparation and execution of testing activities.
- Follow up on anomalies and their resolution.
- Participate in the preparation of data migration and cut-over activities.
- Contribute to Go/No Go decisions for the Finance area.

- Knowledge of the organizational impacts of an ERP transformation
- Excellent knowledge of finance processes
- Language requirement: Level of French C2 on the European CEFR scale
- Experience in large-scale SAP Finance projects.
- Experience in managing risks, defects and action plans
- Experience coordinating or leading multidisciplinary teams
- Experience working with business teams and external integrators
- Proven experience with new S/4 Finance structures (Universal Journal, simplification of tables)
- Proven experience in writing test cases and validating them
- SAP Finance's proven experience in ECC6
- Proven SAP Finance experience in S/4 HANA
- Proven experience as a functional analyst
- Participation in at least one S/4HANA migration or deployment project
- Ability to interpret and understand a BPMN diagram
- Knowledge of English B1
- Experience with a testing management tool (HPQC or equivalent)
- Proven experience in testing methodology and technique (integration and functional)
