- September / October start date /h3 pOur client, are seeking a Freelance Group Head of Finance to join their Brussels office, this is a strategic long-term assignment focused on driving financial performance, improving reporting and budgeting processes, optimising intercompany cash pooling structures, strengthening invoicing processes, and supporting future MA initiatives. /p pLeading a local team of 5 finance professionals, you will act as a key business partner to management, delivering clear insights on revenue, project profitability, and gross margins across the group. Working within a unified ERP environment, you will help operational teams understand where the business is creating value, identify areas for improvement, and drive better decision-making. /p h3Day-to-day responsibilities will include: /h3 ul liImproving overall business performance and profitability across the group. /li liEnhancing budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes. /li liManaging and optimising intercompany cash pooling and treasury activities. /li liStrengthening invoicing processes, cash collection and working capital management. /li liDelivering reporting and analysis on revenue, project performance and gross margins. /li liIdentifying where projects and business units are generating or losing money and providing recommendations for improvement. /li liSupporting the structuring and development of finance processes and teams. /li liActing as the primary point of contact for banks, external finance providers and treasury-related matters. /li liSupporting MA activities, due diligence and integration projects as part of the group's growth strategy. /li /ul h3Key

Requirements:
/h3 ul liProven experience as Group Head of Finance, Finance Director, Group Controller or similar. /li liStrong background within bservices-based organisations /b. /li liExpertise in reporting, budgeting, forecasting and performance management. /li liExperience analysing project profitability, revenue and gross margins. /li liStrong ERP and business partnering capabilities. /li liTreasury, cash management, invoicing and banking experience. /li liExposure to MA processes is advantageous. /li liFluent bEnglish, French and Dutch /b. /li /ul pbLocation: /b Brussels (5 days on-site) /p pbStart Date: /b Ideally September 2026 (October possible) /p pbContract: /b Freelance / Interim Management /p pbDuration: /b Long-term collaboration /p /p
