For one of our clients in the insurance sector, we are looking for a PL/1 Developers to strengthen the IT teams as part of an ongoing digital transformation program.
Location: Brussels
Start date: ASAP - Full-time
Languages: French or Dutch + professional level in English
Your role
You will join an experienced IT team and contribute to the development, maintenance, and evolution of mission-critical mainframe applications.
Your responsibilities
- Development and maintenance of applications using PL/I
- Working in a z/OS mainframe environment
- Use of mainframe technologies such as JCL, OPC, DB2, PL/SQL
- Performing technical and functional analysis when required
- Debugging and continuous improvement of existing systems
Your profile
- Strong expertise in PL/I programming xlxgzvr
- Very good knowledge of mainframe technologies and z/OS
- Ability to perform both technical and functional analyses
- Autonomous, structured, and a strong team player
