It sets out the long term strategy for Ageas and coordinates numerous initiatives across the Group to help realise the strategic ambitions. The Corporate Centre also facilitates knowledge and skills sharing amongst its local operating entities and JV’s, creating strong connections and leveraging on local strengths. It represents the Ageas Group towards external parties, managing relations with analysts, retail and institutional investors, regulators, rating agencies and the media. /p pThe bGroup Corporate Legal /bteamsupports the Ageas Corporate Centre and the Group’s entities on a broad range of legal matters, including corporate law, litigation, regulatory and listed-entity matters, ESG, reinsurance, contract law, transversal legal topics and legal operations. - Corporate Legal Legal Operations, you will combine core in-house legal work with a key role in helping shape the future of the legal function. You will work closely with Corporate Centre functions and Group stakeholders while contributing to initiatives that improve how legal services are delivered across Ageas. /p ul libCorporate legal /b ul liProvide practical, business-oriented and risk-based blegal advice /b to Corporate Centre functions on a broad range of legal matters relevant to Ageas. /li liMonitor and analyse blegal and regulatory developments /b relevant to Ageas and assess their impact on Ageas’ activities, operations and strategic objectives. /li liSupport the bimplementation /bof newb legal and regulatory requirements /b through cross-functional projects involving a variety of stakeholders across the organisation. /li liReview and advise on binternal policies /b and procedures ensuring alignment with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. /li liDraft, review, negotiate and advise on a bwide variety of agreements /b, ranging from supplier contracts to strategic and complex intra-group arrangements, with a strong focus on finding pragmatic business solutions. /li liFollow-up of (pre-)blitigation /b matters, in close cooperation with external counsel. /li liAdvise on bintellectual property /b matters and contribute to the protection and management of the Group’s intellectual assets. /li /ul /li libLegal operations tech /b ul liIdentify opportunities to simplify, standardise and boptimise /b the way legal services are delivered within the Corporate Centre and across the Group. /li liAct as a bchange agent /b, promoting innovation, continuous improvement and the responsible use of technology within the legal function. /li liHelp drive the adoption of blegal tech /b, including AI-enabled solutions. /li liManage the legal function's bexternal provider ecosystem /b, including legal service providers and legal tech vendors, covering selection processes, contract negotiations, performance monitoring, budget oversight and value delivery. /li liContribute to bGroup-wide legal operations and tech initiatives /b, governance forums and cross-functional projects. /li /ul /li /ul h3Your profile /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Law from a Belgian university; /li liAt least 5 years of experience in a reputable law firm or with the in-house legal department of a significant player.
