We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead and coordinate a major ERP transformation project focused on Supply Chain processes.

The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating the different functional and technical teams involved in the project, with a particular focus on the analysis and design phase.

You will act as the central point of coordination between business stakeholders, functional analysts, technical teams, key users and external implementation partners. Your role is to ensure that the different teams work towards a common objective, that dependencies are properly managed and that the analysis activities progress according to scope, planning and quality expectations.

The ideal candidate has strong experience managing complex ERP projects and is comfortable operating in environments involving multiple stakeholders, parallel workstreams and significant business transformation.

Description

Project management & coordination:

Take ownership of the overall planning and coordination of the ERP project.

Coordinate multiple functional and technical workstreams.

Define and monitor project milestones, deliverables, dependencies and priorities.

Ensure that the different teams remain aligned with the overall project objectives.

Organise and facilitate project meetings, workshops and follow-up sessions.

Monitor progress and proactively identify delays, dependencies, risks and blockers.

Ensure effective communication between business, IT and implementation partners.

Provide regular project status reporting to management and key stakeholders.

Coordination of the analysis phase:

A major part of the role will be to coordinate and structure the functional analysis activities rather than performing all analysis personally.

Coordinate the functional analysts working on the different Supply Chain processes.

Structure the analysis approach, priorities and deliverables.

Ensure that functional teams have a clear understanding of scope and expected outcomes.

Coordinate workshops with business stakeholders and key users.

Ensure consistency between analyses performed across different processes and teams.

Identify gaps, overlaps and dependencies between functional workstreams.

Challenge proposed solutions where necessary and ensure alignment with the overall ERP strategy.

Track open points, decisions, assumptions and actions resulting from the analysis.

Ensure that functional specifications and process documentation are delivered on time and with the expected quality.

Supply chain ERP transformation:

The project focuses on the transformation and optimisation of Supply Chain processes within an ERP environment, including areas such as

Procurement and purchasing

Supplier processes

Product and article master data

Inventory and stock management

Warehouse management

Order management

Logistics and delivery processes

End-to-end Supply Chain process flows

Integration with other ERP and business processes

The project manager

does not need to be the deepest functional expert in every area, but must have sufficient ERP and Supply Chain understanding to coordinate experts, challenge decisions and understand project impacts and dependencies.

Stakeholder management:

Act as the primary coordination point between business stakeholders, IT and project teams

Manage expectations and ensure alignment on scope, priorities and timelines

Facilitate decision-making between different stakeholders

Escalate issues and decisions when required

Ensure transparent communication throughout the project

Build strong relationships with key users, functional experts and implementation partners

Planning, risks & dependencies:

Build and maintain the integrated project roadmap

Coordinate dependencies between functional, technical and business activities

Monitor project risks and define mitigation actions

Track decisions, assumptions, issues and actions

Anticipate potential impacts on planning, scope, resources and delivery

Ensure that critical decisions are taken in a timely manner

Testing & delivery:

Coordinate the preparation of the testing strategy and planning

Ensure functional teams prepare the required test scenarios

Coordinate User Acceptance Testing with key users

Follow up on defects and ensure that issues are assigned and resolved

Coordinate readiness activities for deployment and go-live

Support post-go-live follow-up and stabilisation activities
