You will work within an Agile or DevOps team and be involved throughout the entire application lifecycle, from analysis and technical design to development, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance. /ppYou will build new Java solutions and contribute to the modernization of existing applications. You will actively contribute to architectural decisions, technical improvements, and sustainable solutions for complex application challenges. /ph3What you will do: /h3ulliDesign, develop, test, and maintain Java applications. /liliBuild backend components and services using Java and Spring Boot. /liliDevelop and integrate REST APIs. /liliContribute to the modernization of existing applications. /liliDevelop microservices and API-based integrations where relevant within the project. /liliTranslate business requirements into high-quality, future-proof technical solutions. /liliMonitor and improve application quality, performance, scalability, and reliability. /liliWrite and maintain automated tests. /liliContribute to CI/CD processes and the automation of build, test, and deployment activities. /liliCollaborate with developers, architects, Product Owners, and other stakeholders. /liliDiscuss requirements, technical decisions, and improvement proposals with clients. /liliActively contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team. /li /ulh3What you bring: /h3ulliBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. /liliAt least 5 years of professional experience in Java software development within an enterprise environment. /liliProven experience with Java and Spring Boot. /liliExperience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs. /liliKnowledge of modern application architectures such as microservices and API-based integrations. /liliExperience with relational databases and database access from Java applications. /liliKnowledge of software design and relevant architectural principles. /liliExperience with automated testing, version control, and CI/CD. /liliPractical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. /liliExperience with OpenShift is an advantage. /liliComfortable working in Agile, Scrum, or DevOps environments. /liliFamiliarity with tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence. /liliExperience with frontend technologies such as Angular or React is a plus. /liliInterest in additional technologies such as Kotlin or Quarkus is appreciated. /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. /liliA sense of ownership and a results-oriented mindset. /liliExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly. /liliCurious, eager to learn, and motivated to continue developing professionally. /liliFluent in Dutch and English. /li /ulh3What
