To fuel our growth and innovation, we’re looking for a Development Expert for our Sliding Folding systems who’s ready to create real impact. /p h3What you’ll do /h3 pAs a Development Expert, you’ll be the driving force behind the development of new systems with a focus on sliding and folding solutions. From ideation to market launch, you make innovation happen. /p h3Your responsibilities include: /h3 ul liYou follow-up closely the planned development projects with regard to planning, quality (technical aspects), product price, master the risks and take the necessary measures in case of problems, and this from PRD phase (product requirements definition) up to and including Launch. /li liTranslating technical challenges into effective, efficient solutions and validating them through hands‑on testing and prototyping. /li liCollaborating with suppliers to transform concepts into high‑quality final products. /li liEnsuring that all documentation and product‑related information is accurate, complete, and ready for market introduction. /li liWorking closely with senior development experts to ensure that all Reynaers systems comply with technical standards and are delivered on time. /li liReporting progress clearly and regularly to the Team Leader and escalating issues when necessary. /li liContributing to the technical product roadmap by identifying innovations, improvement opportunities, and forward‑looking concepts within your Sliding Folding expertise. /li liSuggesting and implementing workflow and process improvements to enhance overall development efficiency. /li liCoaching and guiding trainees as you evolve into a senior expert. /li /ul h3Who You Are /h3 ul liYou have a strong technical background and sound knowledge of product design and manufacturing technologies involving materials such as aluminium, steel, polymers, elastomers, and rubber. /li liExperience with sliding and/or folding systems, aluminium systems, or the construction industry is considered a strong advantage. /li liYou hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Product Development, Science, or Architecture; a Master’s degree is a plus. /li liYou have at least 5 years of relevant technical experience. /li liYou work accurately, are cost-conscious, and maintain a high standard of quality. /li liYou are proactive, solution‑oriented, and eager to contribute to technical innovation, with other words you are a problem solver. /li liYou are a strong communicator and an effective team player. /li liYou have an excellent command of English; knowledge of Dutch and French is an asset. /li liYou possess solid skills in AutoCAD 2D, Inventor, and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). /li /ul h3What
