We're looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join the Cybersecurity Operations team. This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly secure and mission-critical environment, helping to strengthen cyber resilience, protect enterprise infrastructure, and drive continuous security improvement across on-premise and cloud platforms.
You'll work closely with security, infrastructure, cloud, and operations teams to deliver security engineering initiatives, automate processes, and manage vulnerability remediation across complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, maintain, and harden Linux, Windows, and VMware ESXi environments
- Engineer and optimize cybersecurity services to improve resilience, scalability, and operational efficiency
- Secure and manage enterprise network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, routers, and switches
- Support cloud security across AWS and Azure environments
- Develop automation and integration solutions using Python, Bash, and APIs
- Manage the full vulnerability management lifecycle, from identification and assessment through to remediation and validation
- Track security risks, vulnerability trends, and operational KPIs
- Collaborate with SOC teams, infrastructure teams, and third-party providers to improve security posture
- Produce technical documentation, reporting, dashboards, and remediation plans
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across security operations and engineering functions
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience within Cybersecurity Engineering, Security Operations, or Infrastructure Security environments
- Strong administration experience with Linux, Windows, and VMware ESXi
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools such as Nessus, Rapid7 Nexpose, or similar
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, VPN technologies, and firewall administration
- Experience securing AWS and Azure environments
- Advanced Python and Bash scripting skills
- Experience integrating systems and automating workflows using APIs
- Knowledge of SIEM platforms such as Splunk
- Experience with ServiceNow and Jira
- Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, threat intelligence, and security best practices
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders
