Responsibilities

  • Evaluate credit applications, focusing on consumer loans and private leases
  • Review the credit profiles of prospective clients to identify opportunities and potential risks
  • Implement the risk management strategy as defined in internal guidelines
  • Make decisions independently based on the analysis conducted
  • Defend and explain your decisions at the client’s request, whether by phone or email
  • Prepare the necessary documentation for Credit Committee presentations
  • Monitor economic developments in the Belgian and Luxembourg markets to inform decision‑making

Qualifications

  • Recognized for exemplary attention to detail and analytical skills, with a keen ability to synthesize information and make decisions quickly
  • Strong ability to identify risks, along with a genuine focus on results and customer satisfaction—qualities essential to fulfilling responsibilities
  • College degree or higher and demonstrates a keen interest in current economic affairs, preferably with initial experience as a financial analyst or credit analyst
  • Fluent in Dutch and French, both spoken and written, which is desirable for the position
