Joining Collibra's Product and Engineering Operations teamTurning ambitious product and engineering priorities into coordinated delivery across a global organization is hard, especially when the work spans teams, systems and competing technical dependencies. This role puts you at the center of that challenge.
As a Technical Program Manager, you’ll be trusted to lead complex programs that shape what Collibra builds and how effectively our engineering organization can deliver it. You’ll work directly with Product and Engineering leaders, connecting work across teams, challenging assumptions and helping drive the decisions that move product &technical priorities forward.
You'll bring experience from a software Engineering or R&D environment and step into a role with broad ownership, high visibility and real influence over how technical work gets delivered.
This is a hybrid role based in our Brussels office, with at least two days each week in the office.
Technical Program Managers at Collibra are responsible forManaging a broad range of business programs that require high levels of functional integration and change managementDriving project / program from Initiation to delivery ensuring teams are adhering to our SDLCPartnering closely with release management and NPI stakeholders on improving our go to market processes where applicableDeveloping, maintaining and regularly reviewing agile and project and/or program delivery metrics to drive continuous improvementDelivering clear and concise visibility and communication to senior and executive leadership on portfolio, project and/or program statusEscalate impediments and risks that are critical to business outcomes as appropriateExperience leading teams using Shape Up methodology, or a proven track record of adapting traditional Agile/Scrum frameworks to fixed-time, variable-scope models.
Strong understanding of Scrum and Kanban mechanics to effectively manage dependencies with external teams.
You haveExperience leading complex technical programs within a software Engineering, R&D or Product Engineering organizationExperience managing initiatives across multiple engineering teams in a SaaS environmentThe technical fluency to understand software architecture, engineering dependencies and delivery tradeoffs, and to effectively challenge assumptions and estimatesA strong understanding of software development lifecycles and experience applying project and Agile practices pragmaticallyProven success leading through influence across engineering, product, go-to-market and senior leadership teams in complex, global organizationsExperience translating between technical and business requirements and creating clarity across teams with different prioritiesA bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant working experienceYou areA team player with people management skills and is passionate about building a data-driven culture, including the ability to influence, negotiate and achieve results through both direct reports and those that are notA servant leader that can build relationships across the organization and ensure the right processes, metrics and insights are in placeTruth seeking, and willing to not only think strategically, but be willing to jump in to get the job done yourselfExperienced in taking ownership, meeting deadlines, and anticipating challenges and risks before they escalateA learner who can build specialized domain knowledge to help achieve optimal delivery and adept at getting things done in an environment with lots of ambiguityMeasures of successWithin your first month, you will build relationships with leaders in Product & Engineering, become familiar with company objectives and learn our current landscape.
Within your third month, you will take the lead on at least 1 project or program.
Within your sixth month, you will successfully deliver a business critical milestone on a project or program, and ensure the teams that work on your project or program consistently and regularly ship features on schedule.
