ph3About the job Cloud Architect – Azure / Hybrid Infrastructure Job ID: JP /h3 h3Cloud Architect – Azure / Hybrid Infrastructure /h3 h3About the Role /h3 pWe are looking for an experienced bCloud Architect /b to design and guide secure, scalable, and reliable cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions within a complex public-sector environment. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign and validate Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud architectures. /li liDevelop cloud standards, landing zones, governance, and infrastructure strategies. /li liDesign Azure networking, including VNets, DNS, routing, firewalls, VPN and ExpressRoute. /li liDefine cloud security and Identity Access Management architectures, including Zero Trust, Entra ID and RBAC. /li liDesign solutions for backup, disaster recovery, high availability and business continuity. /li liSupport container platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift and AKS. /li liImplement and promote Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell or Azure CLI. /li liEstablish monitoring, logging and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Defender for Cloud. /li liEnsure effective integration between on-premise infrastructure and cloud environments. /li liProvide architectural guidance, documentation and knowledge transfer to technical teams. /li liCollaborate with infrastructure, security, networking, database and project teams. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liExpert-level experience with Microsoft Azure Architecture and hybrid infrastructure. /li liStrong knowledge of Azure networking, cloud security and IAM. /li liExtensive experience with Terraform/Bicep and cloud automation. /li liStrong understanding of Kubernetes/container platforms. /li liExperience with Windows/Linux servers, virtualization and enterprise storage. /li liExcellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills. /li liAbility to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. /li liDutch, French and English proficiency. /li /ul h3Practical Information /h3 ul liStart: 1 October 2026 /li liDuration: Until end of 2026, extendable /li liWorkload: Full-time (40 hours/week) /li liLocation: Brussels /li liWork model: Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week onsite /li /ul /p
