For one of our business partners, we are looking for a Business Analyst (m/f/n) to support a project delivered for a European Union institution based in Brussels.

About the Project

The project concerns the eExperts platform re-engineering, development, evolutionary maintenance, and support. The scope includes the development, maintenance, and support of the eExperts platform, including the ECS Back Office, Compass workflows, and the ECS Front Office being migrated to new MyExpertArea components integrated with the Funding & Tenders Portal.

Requirements

• University degree
• Minimum 5 years of ICT experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in requirements engineering, elicitation, specification, verification, validation, and prioritization
• Experience in requirements analysis and modelling in accordance with BABOK and IEEE 29148 standards, including:
  • User Stories
  • Use Cases
  • Acceptance Criteria
  • State Diagrams
  • Class Diagrams
  • Entity-Relationship Models
• Experience with process modelling techniques, including BPMN and flowcharts
• Knowledge of IT modelling methodologies such as UML or similar techniques
• Proven experience in stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, requirements elicitation, analysis, specification and validation, as well as consensus building between business and IT stakeholders
• Experience working with complex web applications, back-office systems, workflows, and highly integrated applications
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and governance frameworks, including:

• Knowledge of product management practices, including roadmapping, backlog management, and outcome-based planning
