You stay closely connected to the realities of electronics manufacturing and ensure that test systems are reliable, scalable, and well‑structured. /p pThe role combines long‑term development, operational support, and continuous improvement, all within an Agile environment where sprints guide priorities and collaboration. /p h3Role and Responsibilities /h3 h3Test Solution Development Reliability /h3 ul liYou design, implement, and maintain software for test benches used in PCBA and product manufacturing. /li liYou translate product and manufacturing requirements into clear, actionable test specifications. /li liYou ensure that test solutions are robust, maintainable, traceable, and aligned with HMS production test guidelines. /li liYou monitor test system performance and ensure availability across environments. /li liYou implement validation mechanisms such as self‑tests and regression tests. /li liYou support the deployment and integration of test solutions within manufacturing environments. /li liYou contribute to the standardization and reuse of test methodologies and architectures. /li /ul h3Methodology Operational Contribution /h3 ul liYou promote modern software development practices, including versioning, release management, collaborative workflows, and code reviews. /li liYou improve bug and feature tracking, prioritization, and follow‑up. /li liYou collaborate with Design, Quality, IT, RD, and subcontractors to ensure alignment across disciplines. /li liYou support manufacturing operations by improving test reliability and operational efficiency. /li liYou identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and smarter data usage, including the use of AI when relevant. /li liYou strengthen the team’s collective capability by sharing knowledge and supporting your peers. /li /ul h3Your Profile /h3 h3Background /h3 ul liYou have 5–10 years of experience in software development, embedded systems, industrial IT, or manufacturing test environments. /li liYou have experience working with software that interacts with physical electronic hardware. /li liYou are comfortable in electronics manufacturing environments and understand production constraints. /li liYou have experience working in Agile environments, which is a strong plus. /li /ul h3Technical Skills /h3 ul liYou have strong proficiency in Python. /li liYou bring experience with NI TestStand or LabVIEW (a major advantage). /li liYou have good knowledge of Linux, servers, and scripting. /li liYou have experience with APIs, backend services, and modern deployment environments (e.g., containers). /li liYou have strong experience with version control and collaborative workflows (Git/SVN). /li liYou can troubleshoot issues across software‑hardware boundaries. /li liYou can quickly develop practical tools or scripts to support operations. /li liYou have a strong interest in electronics or embedded systems, whether through professional work or personal projects. /li /ul h3Mindset Soft Skills /h3 ul liYou are pragmatic, hands‑on, and solution‑oriented. /li liYou operate efficiently under real operational constraints. /li liYou are open‑minded, constructive, and comfortable challenging existing practices. /li liYou work autonomously while collaborating effectively in iterative cycles. /li liYou are curious, proactive, and eager to bring ideas from past experiences. /li liYou understand that software decisions have a direct physical impact on hardware and production. /li /ul h3What
