Senior Generative AI Engineer
Join a market-leading professional services organisation at the forefront of its Generative AI transformation.
You'll work with major enterprise clients to turn GenAI opportunities into real, production-ready solutions, from early prototypes and PoCs through to scalable AI products.
This is a chance to join an organisation with serious market presence, ambitious AI projects and access to some of the largest companies in Belgium , while still getting hands-on with the technology.
Day to Day
Building GenAI applications with Python and LLM APIs
RAG, embeddings and vector databases
AI agents and workflow automation
Azure / cloud-based AI solutions
APIs and enterprise integrations
AI evaluation, security and performance
Taking GenAI PoCs into production
The Package
Up to €7,000 gross/month , depending on experience

Who you are
5+ years' experience in software, data, ML or AI engineering
Strong Python
Practical experience with LLMs / Generative AI
Understanding of RAG and AI agents
Cloud experience, ideally Azure
Strong engineering fundamentals
Comfortable working directly with clients
Fluent English; Dutch or French is a plus
You don't need 5+ years of experience in AI, that's simply not realistic given how quickly the market has evolved.
My clients are particularly interested in strong Data Engineers, Data Scientists or Software Engineers who have started moving into AI/Generative AI and want to make that their next career step.
If you've got a solid technical foundation and have already been experimenting with LLMs, RAG, AI agents, Python or cloud-based AI solutions , this could be a great opportunity to step into a dedicated GenAI role at a market-leading organisation .
