Freelance Supply Chain Controller (Interim)

Aalst , Belgium (3 days onsite) Start Date: October Duration: 6 Months We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Controller to join a leading organization on an Freelance basis to cover a long-term absence. An immediate start is preferred to allow for a full handover and onboarding period. You will partner with supply chain managers to understand business drivers and root causes of cost variances.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze transport, warehousing, and logistics costs
- Investigate and explain cost variances through root cause analysis
- Support monthly closings, accruals, and provisions
- Deliver data-driven insights to support business decisions Requirements
- Experience in Controlling, Finance, Audit, or Supply Chain Finance
- Strong experience within transportation, logistics, or warehousing environments
- Understanding of transport cost models and key cost drivers
- Strong analytical and data management skills
- Experience with Power BI and reporting automation is a bonus
