For our client in Roeselare, a manufacturer of modular systems, we are looking for a Milling operator in 2 shifts

What will you do?

- Milling aluminium profiles according to drawing
- Alternating between serial work and piece work (specials)
- Use of ERP system to process production orders

- Reading technical drawings relating to the milling of pieces
- Drawing up milling programmes for new pieces
- Setting up the milling machine (clamping block positions, tools, etc.)
- Loading and unloading the machine
- Carrying out quality checks on own milling work by means of gauges and the necessary 
measuring instruments (roller gauge, caliper, etc.) 
- Monitoring quality via control sheets
- Processing production orders via an ERP system (Navision)
- Performing first-line maintenance (cleaning the machine, replacing cutters, ....)
 

Who are you?

• Experience as a CNC miller
• Reading plans and knowledge of measuring with measuring instruments
• Knowledge of an ERP system is a plus
• Quality-minded, sense of order and tidiness
• Dutch-speaking (basic speaking and reading)
• English-speaking is a plus 
• Willing to work in a 2-shift system
• Team player with a positive attitude
