Are you looking for an opportunity to make a tangible impact on an international organization's cybersecurity strategy?We're looking for an experienced Information Security Coordinator to join a global organization's IT Delivery team. In this role, you'll play a key part in strengthening information security and cybersecurity across an international business.
As the tactical security champion, you'll help identify, assess, and mitigate security risks while coordinating security initiatives, supporting compliance, and embedding security best practices into IT projects and business operations.
RoleSecurity Governance & StrategyChampion information security within the organization's security governance framework.
Drive and maintain the information security roadmap, aligned with business priorities and budgets.
Translate security policies and standards into practical processes and controls for both IT and business teams.
Risk Management & ComplianceIdentify, assess, and monitor information security and IT risks across the organization.
Maintain the security risk register and ensure mitigation actions are tracked to completion.
Support compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including GDPR, ISO standards, and NIS2 where applicable.
Security Projects & ControlsCoordinate security initiatives such as:Identity & Access Management (IAM)Vulnerability ManagementData Loss Prevention (DLP)Network SegmentationPromote Secure by Design principles across IT projects.
Collaborate with internal IT teams and external partners to implement effective security controls.
Security Operations & Incident SupportOversee vulnerability management and patching compliance alongside IT Operations.
Support incident response preparedness through the development of plans and playbooks.
Coordinate activities during security incidents, including communication, investigation, and follow-up actions.
Security Awareness & ReportingDevelop and enhance the organization's cybersecurity awareness program.
Monitor and report on key security metrics, including phishing simulations and training completion.
Prepare security reports for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Coordinate with external security partners, auditors, and regional teams.
ProfileAt least 4 years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or IT Risk Management. Experience coordinating security initiatives in a complex, international, or multi-site environment. Strong knowledge of security frameworks and best practices, including ISO 27001 and NIST. Experience with vulnerability management, access management, data protection, and incident response. Ability to translate security requirements into practical, business-focused solutions. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Comfortable working in a coordination role, influencing teams without direct managerial authority.
