pQED is a Brussels-based event production company delivering live, virtual and hybrid events for clients in the EU public affairs sector. We manage the full event lifecycle, combining logistics and on-site coordination with audiovisual (AV) production, live streaming and online event platforms. /p pWe're a small, tech-savvy team that enjoys solving technical problems and building tailored setups for each event. This paid internship offers hands-on experience in event technology, technical production and IT support from day one. /pbrMaking sure you fit the guidelines as an applicant for this role is essential, please read the below carefully.brul liDevelop IT solutions and setups and provide IT support to the rest of the team /li liAssist with the set-up and configuration of online and hybrid event platforms /li liEnsure events run smoothly and participants have a great experience /li liAssist with technical aspects of the production process, including sound and lighting equipment, video and audio streaming, and virtual event software /li liCoordinate with location's AV teams to set up technical equipment for hybrid events /li liAssist with the Live stream during online conferences /li liAssist with troubleshooting technical issues during events /li liEvent set-up (cameras, image mixing, sound system, lighting, etc.) /li liContribute to improving our streaming services and integrating new technology into the QED workflow /li /ulbrul liGood general IT skills; comfort picking up new software quickly /li liMotivated and hardworking individual, with a strong work ethic /li liPositive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn /li liStrong attention to details and ability to meet deadlines /li liAbility to stay calm and troubleshoot under pressure /li liExperience using AI tools professionally, with a curiosity for exploring new AI-driven possibilities /li liInterest in audiovisual (AV) production, live streaming, event technology or web development; familiarity with OBS Studio or vMix is considered a plus. /li liAny relevant experience through internships, school or personal projects, or freelance work in AV, streaming, multimedia or IT support is considered a plus. /li liA relevant university degree, for example in Audiovisual Production, Multimedia, Digital Media, Event Technology, IT or Computer Science is considered a plus. /li liFluent English; additional EU languages are a plus. /li /ulbrpThis is a unique opportunity to expand your knowledge and engage your creativity in virtual and hybrid events. This is a hands-on technical and production role, right in the middle of the action — running cameras, streams, and event platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues in all stages of the event life cycle, receive training and a thorough development plan. xlxgzvr This is a 6-months paid internship (CIP contract).
