Logistics Manager (Construction) – Belgium
Linum Consult’s client is an international technical and engineering construction specialist. They are urgently seeking a Logistics Manager to be involved on a significant data centre construction project in Belgium.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your key duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Developing, monitoring, and updating the Project Logistics Management Plan
- Interfacing with the Operations and Logistics & Asset Management Team to ensure the coordination and implementation of logistics works is in line with the project’s deliverables
- Supervising the logistics supply subcontractors
- Supporting the Construction Supervisors and Subcontractors to resolve any procurement and supply chain issues
- Liaising consistently with the Engineering Team to assist in the development of design solutions that promote constructability and logistical requirements
- Monitoring and reporting on the performance of the construction supervisors and contractors PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree qualification in Logistics, Construction or similar subject
- 10 years of post-graduate experience in a Logistics role for complex construction projects, such as data centres, factories, or industrial buildings
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Strong interpersonal and team management skills
