It is looking for a senior technician to run, improve and secure that platform, with a strong Linux focus. /p h3What you would be doing /h3 ul liKeeping IaaS services running smoothly on-premises and in private and public cloud /li liProvisioning, administering and troubleshooting RHEL and Oracle Linux 8 to 10 estates /li liBuilding automation and infrastructure as code with Ansible Automation Platform and Bash /li liRunning OS upgrades and patching through Red Hat Satellite, and enforcing security controls /li liTuning load balancers, following change management and keeping the CMDB and diagrams current /li liWriting procedures, reports and briefings, and joining maintenance windows and on-call when needed /li /ul h3What you would bring /h3 ul liHigher vocational training with 4 years of relevant experience, or 6 years with a secondary qualification /li liVMware ESXi, blade and rack servers and hyperconverged infrastructure (vSAN) /li liStrong Linux and Windows administration, including Active Directory, hardening and patching /li liRed Hat Satellite, Ansible and Bash, plus Linux security: firewalls and mandatory access controls /li liHands-on public and private cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and enterprise load balancing /li liClear documentation and communication; virtualisation, Linux or cloud certifications are a plus /li /ul h3Why this one is worth a look /h3 pOwnership of a platform that matters, with plenty of room for good automation. /p
