ppAs Design Senior Engineer Fuel Neutronics in our Safety department you will contribute to our mission everyday by playing a crucial role in supporting our clients. /ppThe "Core and Fuel Studies" Group within the “Nuclear Processes" Competence Centre is in charge of the activities related to the fuel cycle, core design, fuel safety evaluation and core exploitation support for nuclear reactors for the Belgian Utility. /ppThe group is subdivided into three operational subgroups, each one under the responsibility of a sub-group leader : /pulliNeutronic studies Tools: incorporating all activities related to Criticality, Shielding, Activation, Residual Heat /liliCore Multiphysics, Methods Support /li /ulh3Your

key responsibilities
/h3ulliEngineering studies in the domain of core and fuel physics using industry-standard methods and simulation tools; /liliProvide expertise and participate to the developments of core and fuel activities in the field of fuel behaviour and/or core neutronics and/or thermal-hydraulics, including multiphysics approaches; /liliEnsure technical coordination across various areas of expertises and participate in drafting call for tenders; /liliProvide training on various areas of expertise; /liliRegularly report to the Group Manager on all aspects of the relevant domain. /li /ulh3PROFILE /h3ulliYou are a civil or industrial engineer, specialized in nuclear energy, physics or electromechanics, or B.
