ppWe are looking for an experienced Electronics Director to lead the hardware and electronics development function of a growing technology organisation. /p pThis is a senior leadership role combining technical expertise, people leadership and strategic responsibility. You will take ownership of the electronics development roadmap and provide direction across the full product lifecycle, from early-stage concepts and system architecture through detailed design, prototyping, validation and industrialisation. /p pYou will lead a team of talented electronics engineers while remaining closely involved in the technical direction of the products. Working alongside teams across software, mechanical engineering, systems, manufacturing and product development, you will ensure that hardware solutions are technically robust, scalable and aligned with both customer and business requirements. /p pThe role offers the opportunity to shape the way electronics are developed within the organisation, introduce and improve engineering processes, develop technical capabilities within the team and influence the future technology roadmap. It is particularly suited to someone who enjoys combining hands‑on technical understanding with the broader responsibilities of leading an engineering function. /p bKey Responsibilities /b ul liLead and develop the electronics/hardware engineering team, providing technical and strategic direction. /li liOwn the hardware development roadmap and contribute to the wider technology strategy. /li liOversee electronics development from architecture and design through prototyping, testing, validation and production. /li liProvide technical leadership across analogue and digital electronics, PCB design, embedded hardware and related technologies. /li liReview and guide key architectural and design decisions, ensuring robust and scalable solutions. /li liImprove hardware development processes, methodologies and engineering standards. /li liWork closely with software, mechanical, systems, manufacturing and product teams. /li liSupport the transition of new designs from RD into production, with a focus on manufacturability, quality and reliability. /li liMentor engineers and build a strong culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. /li liManage relationships with external technology partners, suppliers and development partners where required. /li /ul bYour Profile /b ul liDegree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. /li liSignificant experience in electronics/hardware development, ideally within a complex product environment. /li liProven experience leading or managing an electronics engineering team or function. /li liStrong understanding of the complete hardware development lifecycle. /li liBroad technical knowledge across analogue and digital electronics, PCB development and hardware architecture. /li liExperience taking products from RD through to industrialisation and production. /li liStrong technical leadership, communication and people-management skills. /li liAble to operate comfortably at both strategic and technical levels. /li /ul bThe Offer: /b ul liA salary benefits package commensurate with experience /li /ul /p
