About The Position
Location: Port Pirie
Status: Full Time

The Homelessness Services provides qualified support and suitable emergency and long-term accommodation options for people who are, or are at risk of becoming, homeless within the Northern Country region.
As the Case Manager, you will provide a service for people who are, or at risk of becoming, homeless – the outcome of which is to facilitate the process of moving the clients toward independent and/or secure housing.
The Country North Homelessness Alliance has developed a Charter dedicated to delivering quality, focused, inclusive and culturally safe services. The Alliance is underpinned by a culture of collaboration and cooperation to ensure the best possible outcomes for all clients in the Country North region of SA.

Skills and Experiences
You will:
- Have a knowledge of the issues affecting homeless clients.
- Have the ability to establish positive, empowering relationships.
- Advocate for and with your clients, ensuring their needs are the focus.
- Be organised and able to meet deadlines.
- Have a high level of communication skills, both written and verbal.
It is essential for you to have:
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
It is desirable for you to have:
- Certificate IV (or above) in a Human Services related discipline.
- Two (2) years or more relevant experience, in a paid or voluntary capacity.
- May also need to be available for some out of hours work and travel between Uniting Country SA sites or interstate as required.
