For a banking customer in Brussels, we are searching for a freelance Compliance Analyst.

Responsibilities

Autonomous handling of the majority of alerts generated by monitoring and screening tools.
Conducting in-depth investigations and drafting clear, structured and well-reasoned analyses.
Identification, documentation and assessment of non-compliance risks.
Strict application of internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
Contribution to the update and improvement of procedures and operational guidelines

Profile

Master’s degree (law, economics, finance or equivalent field).
Confirmed experience in operational compliance / financial security.
Solid knowledge of AML/KYC, sanctions, PEP and fraud regulations.
Ability to handle autonomously the majority of cases, including certain complex cases.
Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with clear and structured writing abilities.
Critical mindset with the ability to identify inconsistencies and formulate relevant hypotheses.
Ease in understanding and applying written procedures and policies.
Willingness to contribute to internal awareness (support to colleagues, answering business questions).
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with
diplomacy and assertiveness when required.
Ability to take initiatives and propose concrete improvements.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
Team spirit, strong sense of responsibility and results-oriented mindset. xirbnpk
