We are committed to excellence, continuous improvement, and delivering trusted, customer-focused services that meet the highest professional and accreditation standards. /p h3Role Overview /h3 pWe are looking for an experienced Medior/Senior Automation Tester – Playwright / Java / Selenium to take a role in defining, implementing and continuously improving the test automation approach within a complex public-sector environment. /p pThe successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise in test automation with experience in test strategy, test architecture, requirements clarification, quality reporting, coordination and coaching. The roles require a minimum of 4 years of demonstrable professional experience in software testing and test automation. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liClarify functional and non-functional requirements in collaboration with analysts, developers and other stakeholders. /li liDefine and drive the overall test automation strategy. /li liEstablish the appropriate test automation architecture, tools and frameworks. /li liDetermine how automated test coverage will be measured, monitored and improved. /li liDesign, implement, maintain and execute automated tests. /li liDocument and communicate the results of automated testing activities. /li liPrepare structured test plans aligned with the project’s objectives and delivery approach. /li liAssess software quality and report findings, risks and recommendations to developers, analysts, team leads, QA representatives and management. /li liSupport the creation and maintenance of reliable test datasets. /li liTest synchronous and asynchronous integrations, including REST APIs and event-based communication. /li liCoordinate testing activities and provide guidance and coaching to other testing professionals. /li liTake ownership of testing-related decisions and act as a driving force for quality within the team. /li liWork effectively within an Agile and Scrum delivery environment. /li /ul h3Required Experience and Competencies /h3 ul liAt least 4 plus years of demonstrable experience in software testing and test automation. /li liProven experience in clarifying functional and non-functional requirements. /li liStrong knowledge of software testing methodologies and recognised testing practices. /li liExperience defining and leading a test automation strategy. /li liExperience designing or contributing to a test automation architecture. /li liExperience measuring and reporting automated test coverage. /li liStrong test planning and test documentation skills. /li liExperience reporting on software quality to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. /li liDemonstrable experience coordinating testing activities, coaching colleagues and taking the lead within a testing environment. /li liGood understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies. /li liAn ISTQB certification or another relevant testing certification is considered an important asset. /li liMust be fluent in English and (Either Dutch or French) /li /ul h3Technical Skills /h3 pThe candidate should have strong practical knowledge of: /p ul liPlaywright /li liJava /li liSelenium /li liBehaviour-Driven Development /li liCucumber or comparable BDD tools /li liXray /li liJira /li liConfluence /li liJSON /li liXML /li liAngular /li liHTML /li liREST APIs /li liEvent-based and asynchronous communication /li /ul /p
