As part of TCR’s ambition to build a fully connected fleet, you will play a key role in integrating telematics data to deliver better service and drive stronger operational performance through powerful, data‑driven insights. /p pIn this role, you will lead the development, deployment, and optimisation of telematics solutions across our equipment fleet, enhancing performance, visibility, and decision‑making. Reporting directly to the Group Operations Director, you will be central to transforming raw data into actionable insights for both our customers and internal operations. /p pYou will collaborate closely with a broad range of stakeholders, translating business needs into scalable, data‑driven solutions. Your impact will be reflected in more informed decision‑making, improved trend monitoring, and stronger process control across the organisation. /p h3A snapshot of what you will be doing here /h3 h3Telematics community leadership /h3 ul liLead the telematics community, ensuring alignment, engagement, and knowledge sharing /li liCollect and structure user feedback, requirements, and improvement ideas /li liCommunicate roadmap, key updates, and lessons learned to drive adoption /li /ul h3Reporting insights /h3 ul liDevelop dashboards and reports tailored to stakeholder needs /li liTurn telematics data into actionable insights supporting operational and strategic decisions /li /ul h3Commercial project support /h3 ul liSupport bids, tenders, and proposals with telematics expertise /li liDefine telematics scope and set up for new projects and demonstrate value creation /li liAlign internal and external stakeholders around a shared roadmap, ensuring consistency and focus /li liAct as the bridge between business users and (internal/external) suppliers, ensuring business needs are clearly translated into delivery /li liEnsure an integration of system and processes in between stakeholders to maximize efficiency /li liDrive evolution and optimisation of telematics solutions and integrations /li liIdentify improvements through performance monitoring, user feedback, and benchmarking /li liOwn and prioritise the telematics roadmap, translating business needs into clear, actionable plans /li liCommunicate developments clearly and proactively, driving stakeholder engagement while tracking adoption and business impact /li /ul h3We are looking for an individual who /h3 ul liHas +5 years of experience in telematics, IoT, fleet management, or related operational environments /li liListens actively to business needs and translates ambiguous requirements into clear, actionable plans /li liExcels at managing multiple stakeholders, aligning diverse inputs into a coherent and prioritised roadmap /li liBuilds strong business cases to ensure focus on the right priorities and maximise impact /li liDemonstrates strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights /li liHas experience managing and deploying telematics or connected equipment solutions at scale /li liShows strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities /li liHas a hands‑on, pragmatic approach and thrives in a fast‑paced environment /li liIs proficient in working with data tools, dashboards, and performance metrics /li liCommunicates clearly and effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences /li /ul pWe encourage candidates to apply even if they do not meet all the requirements.
