AI Security Engineer

pWe are looking for an AI Security Engineer to build security into the full AI lifecycle. You will protect models, agents, data and integrations while supporting the responsible use of AI in security operations and development. Human accountability and oversight remain central to the work. /ph3Your role /h3ulliCarry out threat modelling and security and risk assessments for GenAI, machine learning and agentic AI solutions. /liliDesign guardrails for access, secrets, network isolation, data and prompts, tool use, output validation, logging and monitoring. /liliTest scenarios such as prompt injection, data exfiltration, excessive privileges and misuse of agents or tools. /liliIntegrate security requirements into sandboxes, gateways, pipelines, model and dependency management, and production platforms. /liliHelp design monitoring and incident response for AI components, including ownership, audit trails and escalation. /liliAssess suppliers, models, libraries and external AI services for supply-chain risks. /li /ulh3You have /h3ulliAt least one year's experience with AI security risks across LLMs, agents, retrieval and model and data supply chains. /liliAt least five years of experience integrating security controls into software development. /liliAt least five years of experience integrating security controls into cloud platforms. /liliAt least one year's experience with GDPR, the AI Act, NIS2 or a comparable framework. /liliAt least five years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, cloud security, application security, IAM, SOC or DevSecOps. /liliAt least one year's experience in security testing. /liliAt least one year's experience translating technical security risk assessments into actionable measures. /liliEnglish at C1 level. /liliDutch at C1 level. /liliFrench at C1 level. /li /ulh3A plus /h3ulliAt least five years of experience as an IT Security Engineer. /liliAbility to enable innovation through proportionate security controls. /liliKnowledge of the public sector, G-Cloud or the OISZ context. /liliAwareness of emerging AI technology trends. /liliExperimentation with innovative AI technologies. /liliAbility to turn complex problems into pragmatic solutions. /liliCollaboration across IT, business, security and architecture disciplines. /liliClear communication of technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. /liliAbility to structure information for decision-making. /liliAbility to visualise information for decision-making. /liliAbility to provide advice to stakeholders. /liliAbility to facilitate multidisciplinary decision-making. /liliAttention to deadlines. /liliAttention to the quality of deliverables. /li /ulh3Working at Neurho /h3pFounded in 1998, Neurho is a Belgian IT and business consultancy.
