h3Function /h3 pWe're looking for an experienced Senior Azure Cloud DBA Engineer to join our client's team and help design, manage, and optimize robust cloud database environments. In this role, you'll combine deep database administration expertise with strong Azure cloud knowledge to ensure the performance, availability, security, and reliability of critical data platforms. /p ul liDesign, deploy, administer, and maintain database environments hosted on Microsoft Azure. /li liMonitor and optimize database performance, availability, scalability, and resource utilization. /li liImplement database security measures, access controls, backup strategies, and disaster recovery solutions. /li liTroubleshoot complex database issues and proactively identify opportunities for improvement. /li liManage database migrations, upgrades, patching, and configuration changes across cloud environments. /li liEstablish and maintain database standards, operational procedures, and best practices. /li liCollaborate with cloud engineers, developers, architects, and other technical stakeholders to deliver reliable and efficient database solutions. /li liSupport automation initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of database operations. /li /ul h3The Ideal Candidate /h3 pYou're a seasoned database professional with a strong background in cloud technologies and a proactive approach to solving complex technical challenges. You combine analytical thinking with hands-on expertise, take ownership of database reliability, and communicate effectively with both technical teams and stakeholders. /p pYour profile includes: /p ul liExtensive experience in database administration, ideally in senior-level roles. /li liStrong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure database services and cloud infrastructure. /li liExperience with database performance tuning, troubleshooting, high availability, and disaster recovery. /li liSolid understanding of database security, backup and recovery procedures, and access management. /li liExperience with database migrations, upgrades, and cloud optimization. /liliFamiliarity with scripting and automation to streamline database operations. /li liStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams. /li /ul h3Languages /h3 pLanguage requirements and any additional technical qualifications will be discussed during the recruitment process. /p h3Contactperson Reference /h3 ul liReference #: INM28442 /li liPieter Messely /li /ul
