Job Title: Senior IT Analyst

Location: Brussels, Belgium (3 days/week onsite)

Duration: 3 months contract

Job Description

• Seeking an experienced and autonomous Senior IT Analyst to support business transformation and information systems initiatives.
• The successful candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, gathering and translating business requirements into detailed IT specifications, source-to-target mappings, and solution mock-ups
• This role requires a highly independent professional who can quickly engage with stakeholders, drive requirements analysis, and contribute to digital transformation initiatives within a complex industrial environment.
• Looking for a Senior Business / IT Analyst to strengthen our Digital Manufacturing Data & Analytics team.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the technical delivery team.
• Gather, challenge and document business requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications.
• Create source-to-target mappings and functional documentation for the development team.
• Support the migration of our legacy data platform (TimeXtender) to Databricks and contribute to broader Digital Manufacturing initiatives.
• Analyse manufacturing and business processes and identify opportunities for digitalization and optimization.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, key users, architects and developers throughout the project lifecycle.

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst or IT/System Analyst in enterprise environments.
• Experience gathering requirements, facilitating stakeholder workshops and documenting functional specifications.
• Experience with source-to-target mappings and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate between business and technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and proactively drive topics to completion.

Non-Technical Profile Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior IT Analyst, Business Analyst, or a similar role.
• Familiarity with enterprise systems such as SAP, LIMS, MES, PI or similar.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and analytics projects (Databricks experience is a plus).
• Experience with data platform or ERP migrations
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of business case development, process modelling, design thinking and/or UI/UX journeys
• Scrum/Agile experience is an asset.
• We're looking for someone who is proactive, hands-on, solution-oriented and comfortable working across both business and technical domains.

Language Proficiencies

• Professional proficiency in English.

• Occasional travel to our manufacturing sites may be required.
• min. 3days/week onsite presence as per Policy
• Remote/hybrid is possible, but candidates should preferably have significant overlap with the CET time zone, as most of our team is based in Brussels.
