Freelance AWS Cloud Engineer - Greenfield Project - Hybrid - Long Term

We are seeking an experienced Freelance AWS Cloud Engineer to join a greenfield cloud transformation programme. You will be responsible for designing, building, and automating AWS infrastructure from the ground up, establishing secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and build greenfield AWS cloud infrastructure and landing zones.
- Implement infrastructure using Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Configure AWS networking, IAM, security, compute, storage, and monitoring services.
- Support application migration, modernisation, and cloud-native adoption.
- Implement containerised platforms using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS where required.
- Establish monitoring, logging, security, backup, and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Automate operational processes using scripting and cloud-native tooling.
Experience
- Strong hands-on AWS Cloud Engineering experience.
- Proven experience delivering greenfield cloud transformation projects.
- Strong Terraform / IaC and CI/CD experience.
- Good knowledge of AWS networking, IAM, security, and core services.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes/EKS and automation. xlxgzvr
- Strong understanding of cloud security, scalability, and reliability.
