We believe in a responsible and safe mindset that takes care of our customers, products, and fellow employees. /p h3Job Description /h3 pAt TOMRA Food, our Systems Sensors team is responsible for ensuring all machine components work seamlessly together while developing advanced vision systems that enhance sorting performance, product quality and resource efficiency. /p pAs a bSenior Systems Engineer, /b you will play a key role in turning innovative RD concepts into reliable, market-leading machine solutions. You will: /p ul liLead the end-to-end design, configuration, installation and testing of sorting machines. /li liFacilitate collaboration between engineering disciplines to support effective knowledge sharing and integrated solutions. /li liProvide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams working towards shared project goals. /li liSupport the development of optical systems and sensor technologies to further improve inspection quality. /li liContribute to system architecture decisions, balancing performance, cost, manufacturability, reliability and sustainability. /li liDrive scalable engineering approaches through the reuse of modular building blocks. /li liDevelop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, configuration and operating procedures. /li liProvide technical guidance across projects and operational activities. /li liWork closely with Product Management to align technology development with product requirements. /li liCollaborate with regional business units to understand market needs and support business objectives. /li /ul pHealth, safety and care for the environment come first. You are empowered to stop work if something feels unsafe, and we expect everyone to speak up so we can prevent harm and reduce our environmental impact. /p h3Qualifications /h3 pbAbout You: /b /p ul liMaster's degree, or equivalent experience, in Engineering, Physics or a related scientific discipline. /li liExperience leading technically complex, cross-functional projects. /li liExperience bringing multidisciplinary teams together to achieve common objectives. /li liExperience in one or more of the following areas: automation, sorting machines, vision systems, photonics, optics or spectroscopy. /li liExperience using data analysis, programming or modelling tools such as Python or MATLAB. /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. /li liClear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information effectively. /li liExperience working with RD, manufacturing, supply chain and quality teams. /li liAbility to work effectively in an international and culturally diverse environment. /li liWillingness to travel domesticallyand internationally. /li /ul pIf you don't meet every single requirement, we encourage you to apply.
